• Présente-toi en quelques lignes (âge, d’où tu viens, dans quoi tu bosses)

Bonjour à tous ! Mon nom est Fielding Shredder. Je vis à Austin, Texas aux Etats-Unis et je suis impliqué dans les sports mécaniques de toutes les façons possibles. Je pilote, fabrique, anime et aider à organiser des événements, je construis des voitures et j’apprends aux gens à les conduire.

• Comment t’es venu au drift ?

J’ai vu du drift il y a longtemps sur Youtube et je suis tombé amoureux. A ce moment je me suis dit JE DOIS ESSAYER LE DRIFT, et j’ai acheté une voiture pour le faire.

• Présente-nous ta caisse (moteur, châssis, modifs, histoire)

Ma voiture c’est mon bébé. Je l’ai construite petit à petit avec ma paie depuis 10 ans. C’est une Nissan 240SX S14 Kouki équipée d’un 2JZ-GTE, ainsi que toute la suspension de drift requise pour être amusante et compétitive. 500cv / 470nm.

• Si on te dit « Le drift en 1 mot ? »

• Le drift dans 10 ans, tu le vois comment ?

Je pense que malheureusement le drift pourrait être écrasé par le gouvernement car c’est une source de gaspillage. Cependant, si nous nous adaptons à l’évolution de l’environnement, nous utiliserons probablement des pneus recyclés et des moteurs électriques, ce qui pourrait être passionnant !

• On te donne une Française passée en prop’ pour drifter, tu prends laquelle et tu fais quelles modifs ?

Je pense qu’une Renault bien modifée en RWD pourrait être une super caisse de drift ! Ils ont une grande histoire en course auto donc je pense que cela ferait une voiture solide et fun à conduire.

• Le pilote le plus cool du plateau ?

Je suis le plus cool ! (Rires) Non en fait j’ai vraiment aimé passer du temps avec Axel François, nous nous sommes très bien entendus. Je l’ai appelé mon frère Français ! Nous partageons les mêmes choses, nous avons le même age, le même boulot, et la même passion pour le drift !

• Le pilote le plus con du plateau (c’est le moment de balancer !) ?

Le pire était probablement Michael Pettiford. Il était beaucoup trop arrogant quant à sa façon de piloter, et ça ne s’est pas très bien passé ! Enorme erreur !

• Le pilote qui t’inspires le plus (pas que drift) ?

Je pense que Chelsea Denofa est le pilote qui m’inspire le plus. C’est toujours très excitant de le voir envoyer dans une course avec une grande ténacité, et il le fait vraiment en s’amusant. Il a une très bonne attitude.

• Ton anecdote la plus dingue sur un event ?

Mon accident le plus fou était sur Hyperdrive. J’ai crashé ma voiture quelques fois avant mais jamais aussi gravement. Elle à vraiment été très endommagée et il m’a fallu longtemps pour la réparer !

• Tes projets pour l’avenir ?

Je suis en train de construire une S14 de rallye pour la piloter au ranch ou je travaille ici au Texas. Ça devrait être marrant de faire de gros travers dans la terre.

• Quel morceau à écouter pendant un run ?

J’aime surtout le rock, mais surtout le groupe « The Warplanes », ils font un trip rock vraiment génial.

• Ton spot de drift improbable (où tu es allé ou où tu aimerais aller) ?

Le circuit d’Ebisu au Japon !

• Introduce yourself in a few words (Age, Where do you come from, What’s your job ?)

Hello everyone! My name is Fielding Shredder, I live in Austin TX USA, and I am involved in motorsports in any way i can. I drive, fabricate, announce, help organize events, build cars, and instruct people how to drive them.

• How did you came at drifting ?

I saw drifting on youtube many years ago and fell in love, and decided at that moment I MUST TRY TO DRIFT, and I bought a car to do so.

• Introduce your car (Engine, Chassis, Mods, Story)

My car is my baby, I have been building her one paycheck at a time for over 10 years. Its a 1997 Nissan 240sx S14 Kouki with a 2JZ-GTE engine, and all the drifting suspension required to be a fun and competitive car. 500hp/470tq

• How do you see the Drift in 10 years ?

I think unfortunately drifting in 10 years might be crushed by the government because it is so wasteful. However If we adapt to the changing environment then we will likely be using recycled tires and electric motors which could be exciting !

• If we give you a french car modded in RWD for drifting, which one would you pick ?

I think a nicely modded RWD Renault would be a very cool drift car! they have a lot of heritage in racing so I know they would make a solid car that is fun to drive.

• The coolest guy of the championship ?

I’m the coolest! haha no actually i really enjoyed hanging out with Axel Francois, we got along great. I called him my french brother! we are both into the same things, same age, same occupation, and same passion for drifting!

• The worst moron ? (It’s time to talk :p)

The worst from the show was probably Michael Pettiford, only because he was so cocky about his driving abilities but that did not go so well on the show. Major failure !

• Which pilot inspires you the most ?(not only drift)

I think Chelsea Denofa is the most inspirational driver for me personally. He is always exciting to watch with the most tenacity attacking the course, and he has a fun time doing it with a great attitude.

• Your craziest anecdote on an event ?

My craziest accident was on hyperdrive when i hit the wall. I have crashed my car several times before but never that bad, it damaged the car very badly and took me a long time to fix it!

• Your projects for the future ?

I am building an S14 rally car to drive at the ranch i work at here in Texas ! It should be very fun to get sideways on dirt.

• Which song would you listen while a run ?

I love any rock song, but mostly by the band ‘The Warplanes’ they are really awesome trip-rock.
